she could have been a star - poster and comic book

this project started for a “murder mystery’ poster design which we then had to elaborate on. the story followed a retired diver who had held some world record for decades. 

the diver then learns that this year it could be broken by an up and coming diver. upon hearing this news the retiree starts planning their murder to keep their record - but as soon as they arrive at the pool, they change their mind and become content with allowing the next generation to take over and experience the fame and fortune that they had for many years. they then trip and smash the bottle of poison ultimately cutting the life of the young diver tragically short.
